For organizations using Epic:

We are trying to see what other organizations have built for alerts/information provided at the time of e-prescribing to help providers recognize when dose adjustments may be needed. We learned that we have the option to add a lab report section on the same screen where you enter the E-Prescription that shows the pertinent labs based on the med being ordered (looks back at the last 3 values w/ no time limit). Does anyone else use this type of functionality or have other alerts built for e-prescribing?
