Our region is just starting to monitor time critical medication administration compliance. I have found that it appears no one else in our organization is monitoring this metric currently. Does anyone have a recommendation for compliance goal or what you may do at your site / health system for monitoring? I have started to look at compliance % by region and then individual sites and have clinical outcomes leaders looking into opportunities but was curious about a goal % compliant...

I am curious if any of you would share with me what is on your lists for time-critical scheduled medications? (30 min on either side of administration time) I did a quick search of this topic on the MSOS forum and have seen answers circa 2014-2018. I am wondering if answers have changed since then? I am told DNV surveyors look for this policy specifically, for evidence that we are adherent. Particularly interested in similar academic hospitals’ lists.
