Ambulatory MAR-dual signoffs

Forums:

We are rolling out our EPIC Ambulatory MAR and wondering what other institutions have done with nursing dual sign offs?

Our clinic ambulatory MAR (for the most part) currently uses all of the “inpatient” medication configuration settings. Curious to see what other institutions have done with their implementation. Thanks!

Identification of High-Alert Medications in EHR

Hi there ~
Question for the group regarding High Alert Medications.

Does your organization currently have any sort of "identifier" or visual cue, etc. built into the EHR to alert end users to the fact that a medication is considered 'high-alert'? if so, would you mind providing information on how you have this set up / what it looks like.

Tube feeds on the MAR

Forums:

We are having issues with nurses not hanging D10 when tube feeds are stopped and patient received insulin. We have a request to document tube feeds on the MAR in order to facilitate clinical decision support.

If you have tube feeds on the MAR and use Epic, please provide information on your Epic build or provide a contact that I can use to help us with this.

Thank you,
Ann
