Ampicillin Vials in Omnicell

We are an Epic-Omnicell hospital. We would like to have ampicillin vials loaded in the NICU Omnicell but encountered IT issues.

Has any Epic-Omnicell hospital succeeded in loading ampicillin vials in Omnicell?

Specifically, the issue is that in order to show the correct post-reconstitution concentration and administration volume on the Epic MAR, the Epic record must have a concentration set. Since ampicillin has two possible concentrations (IV and IM), the concentration cannot be set on the vial record and requires the use of custom records for IV and IM ampicillin. The problem is that the actual vial record is what is programmed in Omnicell, which is why the Epic order is not linking up with it. Changing the Omnicell record to the custom IV record would cause errors if a nurse were to override a vial for an IM dose.

I would sincerely appreciate it if anyone could share a solution to this.
