EPIC MAR Action: Add Due Time

Hi everyone,

For anyone who is on EPIC, has anyone noticed an issue where nurses are able to ADD a due time on the MAR. For example, if you have a patient who is suppose to be administered oxycodone ER 20mg BID to be started in the evening, the MAR is timed for 2200. But the nurse is able to go into the MAR and add a due time to be administered at any time. I attached a few screenshots. In the second screenshot you can see that now there is a new Due time added for 926am even though the med was originally timed for 2200. As far as we could tell, there is no provider notification that the order has been modified. We have had issues with multiple medications. As anyone else noticed this issue and if so, how did you handle the issue to reduce risk?
