IV Line Flush

Are you using heparin or saline flush for IV lines? We are updating our policy for flushing IV lines and finding it difficult to obtain consensus on primary flush. Studies favor saline over heparin but not enough to provide definitive recommendations. We are also having difficulty finding data on volume and frequency to maintain patency. Would anyone be willing to share their policy?
