Patient's own refrigerated controlled substance

Hi,

We recently had a patient who brought in the ketamine troche that needed to be refrigerated and had to be used during admission. We currently don't have a process how to handle this. One idea came up to store it in a small lock box and put the lock box in the locked fridge on the unit. Does anyone have a process for this?
