Pre-op Antibiotic Timing

How are orders built to provide a time for preop antibiotics? We use Epic and have a frequency of ON CALL or PREOP. The order still populates the MAR with a start time so we are seeing an increase in antibiotics being given early. I would love to hear how others have addressed this.
